Outdoor Gear Canada (OGC) has been awarded a Certificate of Excellence by Hydro-Québec, Québec's electricity provider.

''Hydro-Québec proudly honours the outstanding results of organizations that have distinguished themselves through their participation in its energy efficiency programs,'' reads Hydro-Québec's announcement of the awards to OGC and a number of other Québec organizations.

OGC's new Montréal head office and warehouse recently received silver-level LEED certification from the Canadian Green Building Council.
