September 8/09 12:55 pm - Forest City Velodrome expands Introductory sessions

Posted by Editoress on 09/8/09

The Forest City Velodrome in London Ontario is pleased to announce, an added bonus for riders coming to the indoor Velodrome for the Winter season.  Beginning September 19th and continuing through March 2010 the FCV will conduct a 1hour skills class immediately after the Introductory (Track 1) sessions on Saturday’s.  These skills sessions were trialed in 2009 with great success.  Riders were not only given the opportunity to get acquainted with the Velodrome, but these new riders were given expanded riding time to learn more skills to better integrate into the FCV’s regular riding schedule and programs.  With more skills, new riders are more confident and much safer when they come back for a recreational session or Track 2.

This offer is open to individual cyclists, groups and clubs from across Ontario and the Northern US.  Last year our Track 1 sessions were booked several months in advance…. We highly recommend booking an introductory session quickly as they do sell out. Start your booking today.

Most of your questions will be answered on our website . You can also email the track at ForestCityVelodrome@live.com.

Since the Velodrome was constructed in 2005 we have introduced 1,800 riders of all ages to the Velodrome.  Don’t let another winter go by without checking us out….. We will make you faster for the 2010 road season.

See you on the boards
