Plans are moving forward for a Forest City Velodrome Junior Racing Team for the 2010 Road & Track Season.

InVita Sport in Mississauga came on board on Friday with a nice package of clothing & equipment for the 2010 Forest City Velodrome / Invita Sports Jr Cycling Team.

Dave & Helen Jones from InVita Sport are very excited about the opportunity to help young racers in Ontario. The team will race in Ontario at all the Ontario Cup Road events, as well as selected races in Quebec and Northern United States. Road and Track Nationals will also be on the schedule going into 2010. We are hopeful a couple of members of the team will be strong enough to represent Ontario and Canada at the 2010 Junior World Championships in Italy next summer.

Currently the rider line up looks very competitive for next season. The team is looking for an additional three riders (boys or girls). If you are a Cadet moving to Junior or a first year Junior in 2009, please send a resume to ForestCityVelodrome@live.com to show your interest.
