Cannondale - Cyclocrossworld.com teammates Tim Johnson and Jeremy Powers have confirmed their participation in the 2009 GNC Toronto International Cyclo-Cross UCI C1 & C2 races on October 17th and 18th. Powers was the dominant winner of TICC Day 1 last year, storming through the mud on a course he later referred to as one of the best in North America. Teammate Tim Johnson showcased his climbing and technical skills by winning on the hilly course on Day 2. This year's races will feature similar courses with several refinements.

Organizers of the GNC Toronto International Cyclocross are thrilled to be included in the 10 race NACT series. Along with NACT points, the event offers over $24,500 in Cash and Prizes, including equal prize money for Men and Women on Sunday. Plan on arriving early to join us for exciting pre-race events.

Thursday, October 15th - Breakfast Television, CityTV's landmark morning show will be live on site, doing pre-race interviews, exposing over 1 million viewers in the Toronto area to the thrills of cyclocross.

Friday October 16th - Urban Male Magazine, in conjunction with Cameron's Brewing Co., will be hosting the TICC pre-race party at downtown Toronto's iconic Brunswick House (481 Bloor Street West). Located in Toronto's Historic Annex district, 'The Brunny' (established in 1876) is one of Toronto's oldest taverns.

Registration is open at www.bikereg.com and www.ontariocycling.org. Additional information on the races can be found at www.torontocyclocross.com
