October 2/09 10:06 am - Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day Tomorrow

Posted by Editoress on 10/2/09

Celebrated on the first Saturday of each October, the next edition of IMBA’s International Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day is a day away. This year’s turnout will be the largest ever, with more than 7,100 kids registered and ready to ride their bikes in 167 official events.

International Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day will be celebrated in a dozen countries in 2009. “We are thrilled with the participation numbers for this year’s event,” says International Executive Director Mike Van Abel. “Kids already love to ride their bikes, but this IMBA program helps connect them with quality trails and great bike parks. Add the support provided by our dedicated volunteer ride leaders and these kids get the best possible mountain biking experience.”

We hope you'll join us!
