The Canadian Para-cycling Worlds Track Team has arrived in Manchester, UK to compete at the 2009 Para-cycling Track World Championships starting today, and running through Sunday, November 8th.

The team arrived a week early in Newport, to fine-tune their speed work, practiced their start and various technical skills.  They 've had time to settle in, receive daily physiotherapy treatment and get the necessary mechanical support.  The B & VI (Blind & Visually Impaired) were particularly pleased to receive brand new Dolan Track Tandems, and were extremely delighted about the compact geometry of the frames.  It was also a good opportunity to meet Team Doctor, Dr. Susan Labrecque.
