Conditions were still icy and hard packed in the morning. The organization then shut the course to training and went to work with shovels, pickaxes and sand to try and give the course some grip.

After the work and with temperatures rising above zero the characteristics of the course completely changed with mud starting to come through the melting snow. Saturday weather in Tabor is calling for a windy day with a high of -1  C and a chance of flurries.
