OH Canada!

So British Columbia will host the Olympics ? Great, but if you don't want the crowds and would rather ride than slide you should check out Canada's entry into the world of ultra-endurance cycling, "The BC 5000."

The inaugural event begins August 1st, 2010 in Whistler, BC and riders have two ultra circuits to chose from -  the Prince George Circuit 2,660 kilometers or "Le Grand Loop," the Watson Lake Circuit which is an amazing 5,000 kilometre long journey. The race is open to soloists, 2, 4 and 8 rider relay teams.

No qualifications are necessary but you better be prepared.

It's Canada's answer to the Race Across America, held on a breathtaking and incredibly demanding course.

Please check it out at www.ultravelo.com or contact Race Director Perry Stone via email for more details. info@ultravelo.com
