February 15/10 13:33 pm - French Judge Issues Arrest Warrant for Floyd Landis

Wire services are reporting that a French judge has issued an international arrest warrant for American rider Floyd Landis. Landis is accused of hacking into a French anti-doping lab computer, and the French judge issued a subpoena for him and his coach Arnie Baker last year, requiring the pair to come to the French court and testify on the matter, which neither did.

Landis won the 2006 Tour de France and was then stripped of his title after being found to have excessive testosterone levels. After a long legal battle with doping authorities, Landis lost his final appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) last year.

He returned to racing last year with the American squad Team OUCH, but thus far has had limited success, and currently does not have a professional team.
