Queen’s Park Grand Prix – a premier bicycling race featuring world class cyclists – returns to Toronto

 

Hello Vélo (hellovelo.ca), Toronto’s premier performance cycling boutique, today announced the return of the Queen’s Park Grand Prix, a premier bicycle race featuring top cyclists from Canada and the United States to be held on September 19, 2010. Hello Vélo is the race organizer and producer.

The Queen’s Park Grand Prix, considered the crown jewel of cycling in Ontario, will feature three distinct races on the roads circling Queen’s Park in Toronto. The first race will be a 45 minute Master’s Open Race for amateur men, followed by a 60 km Women’s Elite Race and an 85 km Men’s Pro Am Race, the premier race attracting world class cyclists by invitation only.

The beneficiary of these races is Trails Youth Initiatives. Through a combination of outdoor experiential initiatives, Trails helps youth develop practical skills, relevant knowledge and self confidence to encourage personal growth and development.
