OBB Wheelers is organising a road race, a time trial and a criterium on the weekend of May 22-23. This is the third year for the events and up to eighty plus riders from Vancouver Island and the mainland are expected to participate. We have earned a great reputation in a short time for putting on quality races on terrific courses and this year two of the events are on great circuits at new venues. Start times have been picked so as to fit in with ferry sailings.

The 70km road race, on Saturday, is on a challenging 14km course in Cedar. Registration opens at 11.00am at North Cedar Intermediate School on Gould Road and the race, which starts at 12pm, will finish around 2.15pm. The post-race awards and telling of "war stories" will be over before 4pm.

The 15km time trial is on our regular course on Nanaimo River Road,  Registration opens at 9am on Sunday morning at the Jonanco Hobby Workshop on the corner of White Rapids Road at 9am. First rider will be off at 10.01am and the event plus awards ceremony should be completed by 12pm.

The criterium will take place on Sunday afternoon on an exciting new circuit in Nanaimo. Registration will be at the La-Z-Boy warehouse on Tulsa Road at 1pm and the first race will commence at 2pm. Presentations will be completed by 5.30pm.
