Today marks the official launch of the website for the Grand Prix Cycliste de Québec and Grand Prix Cycliste de Montréal, two new events on the 2010 ProTour racing calendar. On the site, fans will find full details of these élite international cycling competitions, coming to North America for the very first time.
www.protourquebecmontreal.com features comprehensive information about the two races. From details on the riders' arrival to race specifications to how to become a volunteer--it's all there! The site also gives users the chance to find out more about the UCI ProTour label: its standards, the race calendar, competing teams, and the heroes of the circuit. The site is rounded out with general content about top-level cycling, including the latest news from the tour, and a variety of articles.
The public is reminded that the races will take place in Québec City on September 10 and in Montréal on September 12, and will be accessible to everyone free of charge. In all, 168 of the world's best riders are expected, promising an outstanding, unforgettable spectacle on two challenging downtown circuits.
These events are organized by Grand Prix Cycliste ProTour in collaboration with Groupe Serdy, and made possible with the financial support of the City of Québec, the City of Montréal, the Government of Québec and the Government of Canada.
