Spring Clean Up endurance track race May 29th at the Glenmore Velodrome in Calgary

Calgary Bicycle Track League invites you to start the ABA track season at the fourth annual Spring Clean Up. New this year is our one day format with all events oriented towards endurance riders. For the A category, we’ll have a team format with two member teams. B and C riders will compete as individuals. We’ll have a scratch race, pursuit (one team member from each A team), points race (one member from each A team) and, depending on your category, Madison or Elimination.

Cost - $35 Pre-registration is required. Registration is open on www.karelo.com. until midnight Thursday May 27th. There will be no race day registration. A riders designate your partner and which rider will complete the pursuit (the other rider will complete the points race).

• We'll have $1,000 in total prize money to be shared by riders in all categories. Depth of prize payment will relate to the size of the field in each category.

• Points will be awarded for the top six finishers in each event – 10, 7, 5, 3, 2, 1. Overall winners will be the A team & B & C racers with the highest point counts.

• Prizes will be paid in cash at the end of the day’s racing. You must either be present to receive your cash or designate an alternate to collect your prize.

We’ll have refreshments and eats at the end of the day to make it worth sticking around to recognize the winners.
