September 5/99 8:55 am - Pre-Race Report for Men in Houffalize

The men's World Cup Final is about to start and we have a pre-race update from Phil Reinaers:

The weather is sunny and even warmer than yesterday. Expected temperatures for the race will exceed 26 Celcius, with the possibility of a storm in the late afternoon. Among the 170 starters are the following Canadians:

Seamus McGrath
Chris Sheppard
Andreas Hestler
Roland Green
Geoff Kabush
Ryder Hesjedal

We expect results in just over an hour (ie, 10-10:15 am).
