On Sunday, November 14th, Hardwood Ski & Bike is pleased to host the 5th stop in the Southern Cross Series. Hardwood Ski and Bike is a short 15 minute drive north of Barrie, Ont. For further information and directions go to hardwoodskiandbike.ca.

Registration opens at 8a.m on Nov.14th and closes 30 minutes prior to each race start. The course will be open for pre-riding from 1-4p.m on Nov.13th. The cost to pre-ride is $5 and there is no charge for racers that are pre-registered
The course will also be open for pre-riding after 8a.m on Nov. 14th.

Entry cost is $30 pre-reg/ $35 day of  and $20/$25 for Junior and under 17yrs. You may enter online on the OCA website up until Friday, Nov 12th, or by calling the main desk at Hardwood Ski and Bike ( 705-487-3775 ).

Race starts will be as follows:
10 a.m. - Under 17; M3 Men; Beginner 19+ Men; U17Men/Women; U15 Men
11:30 a.m. – U 19 Men/Women; Senior Women;  Master Women;
                    Master 2 Men
1 p.m. – Senior Men; Master 1 Men; U23 Men

There will be a cash purse for Senior Men & Women, with great merchandise prizes for all other categories. Awards will be held immediately following the completion of each race start.

The course is approximately 2.75kms per lap in length and offers a great mix of the terrain features at Hardwood. There are fast sections of grass and doubletrack, combined with numerous technical and twisty sections. Also expect 1-2 barriers, 1 stair run-up and some fast sections in the woods.
This course is guaranteed to be a hit for all levels of rider, from beginner to expert.

There are many great viewing spots and admission is free.
