Different Bikes is seeking an experienced, motivated bicycle industry person to join their team as Store Manager. A passion for cycling and demonstrated success in delivering excellent retail customer experience are the most important requirements for this role.
Working with the owner and sales manager, you'll be responsible for the successful daily and long-term operations of a busy and fast growing retail store. Your direction will deliver a friendly and welcoming environment for customers, a positive work environment for all staff, and the resulting continued growth and financial success for the business. Purchasing, merchandising, hiring, staff scheduling and delivering customer service will also be key parts of the store manager role. Community involvement, both local to the store and biking in general, is an integral part of our mission so a readiness to represent and promote Different Bikes and cycling outside of the store is welcomed.
