December 17/10 15:17 pm - U.S. City to Announce 2015 Worlds Bid?

It appears that the U.S. city of Richmind, Virginia is about to announce that it will be going up against Quebec City for the 2015 Road World Championships. There is no official word at this time, but the Mayor and USA Cycling will be holding a press conference on Tuesday (December 21st) to "officially launch the city of Richmond's bid to host an international cycling event that has not been held in the United States in almost 25 years." The Road Worlds were last held in the United States in 1986.
