April 12/11 12:14 pm - Canada Qualifies for Medal Rounds on Day 1 of Junior Pan Am Championships

Team manager Rob Good has just informed us that Canadians will ride for gold and bronze medals on the first day of competition at the Junior Pan Am Championships in Mar del Plata, Argentina. 

Allison Beveridge set quickest time in the morning qualifying session for the 2000 metre women's Individual Pursuit at 2:35.3.  Allison will be going for Gold this afternoon.  Canada's Team Sprint squad of Jesse Marans, Daniel McKenzie-Picot and Kris Ovsenek made it through to the Bronze medal round, which will also be held later this afternoon.  Other Canadians racing today include Alex Cataford, Emile Jean and Audrey Labrie.
