With Britain a solid favourite to win gold on the track next year at the Olympic Games - they won 7 of 9 track cycling golds in Beijing - it is no surprise that Olympic organizers have announced that track cycling tickets are sold out.

Twenty million tickets were requested across all sports, but only six million are available, meaning that a lottery will be used for heavily subscribed events - including all track events.  The announcement of who the successful ticket winners will be is expected in June of this year.
