The Mid Island Velo Association is organizing a stage race on behalf of the BC Masters Cycling Association on May 21st and 22nd.

As with all BCMCA events, Juniors and Cadets are welcome, and will be placed in the appropriate category according to their skills and ability. The Technical Guide has all the details of this exciting event, which has two stages on picturesque Gabriola Island, the first time ever that a bicycle race has been held there.

One of the attractions at the event HQ will be the Varna HPV, in which Quadra Island resident and Naked Bike builder Sam Whittingham established the current world HPV speed record. The Varna will be on display for all to see. We also hope to have builder Georgi Georgiev on hand to talk about his creation.
