Grand Opening Bike Swap May 14th
Do you have a bike that has been sitting in your shed collecting dust, want to sell your current rig so you can up-grade to a new Devinci or Scott or maybe you want to buy a previously loved two wheeled machine?  Come to Cowichan Cycles First Annual Bike Swap and Grand Opening.

Bring your bike in on May 13 and we will sell it for you on May 14, 2011 AND the whole store is on sale.  15% off all in-stock clothing, parts and accessories and 5% off all in-stock all bikes.  87.9 Sun Fm will be on hand broadcasting form the store, plus tonnes of give-aways from our distributers, many of which will be there too.  For more details go to cowichancycles.com

As an added bonus the silver medalist from the  2010 World Downhill Mountain Bike Championships, Cycles Devinci sponsored athlete and local mountain bike icon Steve Smith will be there for all the action.

Co-Ed And Women's Only Bike Maintenance Clinics

With the sunny weather upon us, there is no doubt that you want to get out and ride your bike.  But what happens when you get a flat tire or a broken chain, do you know how to fix it or maybe you have some questions regarding tuning up your own bike.  These and many more questions will be answered on Tuesday May 17 (co-ed) and May 24 (women's only).  Registration includes a two hour course, Lezyne tire levers and glueless patch kit, a replacement tube in your choice of size, a Lezyne Rap 13 multi-tool and a Lezyne M-Caddy seat bag to carry it all in.  All this for $65.  Registration is limited, so e-mail us to ensure you get a spot.

Monday Night XC Rides

Monday nights join us and the Everti Cycling Club for mountain bike group rides.  These rides will be 2+ hours and will leave by bike, from Cowichan Cycles.  This is a great way to meet new people to ride with and find some of the awesome riding the Cowichan Valley is known for.

Cowichan Cycles  is located at 136-135 Trans Canada Hwy in Duncan, BC
