May 4th - Blizzard AGM and Elections

The Blizzard Bike Club held its 29th Annual General meeting at the Northern Lights College, Wednesday night. Attendees looked back at the 2010 – 2011 seasons’ highlights.

Season highlights include Richard Wood’s National medal, Paul Tichelaar’s triathlon seminar and yet another Challenge Cup win.

Club membership is way up, this year, to 90 members. 2011’s membership is projected to go to 110 by year’s end.

A committee was struck to look at a special event to celebrate next years’ 30th club anniversary of cycling in the North Peace.

Elections were held after the meeting with: President: Patricia Emery, Vice President’s Adam Currie and Pat Ferris, Treasurer Dawn Gladysz, Secretary Hilda Bilodeau and Directors Gord Harris, Sandy McDonald, Barb Polehoykie, Wim Kok, George Gamble, Kevin Shaw, Ken Nix, Hilda Bilodeau, Ryan Dumaresq and Bill Lindsay.
