Through the FQSC (Quebec Cycling Federation) and CCA, Genevieve Jeanson applied to the COA (Canadian Olympic Association) to have her Worlds results included in the qualification process. The COA has now announced that qualification process will not be modified, and that Jeanson (or other riders) will have to follow the existing procedure.
Hopefully, this will end the current controversy, Jeanson will qualify (as she is certainly capable of doing), and Canada willl select the strongest team for Sydney.
