The Colavita/Forno D’Asolo Pro Cycling presented by Cooking Light, the #1 team in the NRC, will race the BMC Cascade Cycling Classic and the Presbyterian Hospital Invitational Criterium.  Directeur Sportif Rachel Heal made the announcement.

“We are very excited about these upcoming races,” said Heal.  “Theresa Cliff-Ryan, who won the Presbyterian Hospital Invitational in 2010, will lead our ace criterium squad as she aims to defend her title.”

“We will also be bringing a strong squad with diverse talents to Cascade,” Heal continued.  “Janel Holcomb, who just won the Tour de Toona, will be on the starting line, along with Rushlee Buchanan, who last year won the Best Young Rider competition at Cascade and finished fifth overall.”

“Of course, we will be missing Cath Cheatley at Cascade as she was a great contributor to our overall team win in 2010,” said Heal.  “However, Cath is making great progress in her recovery and is already getting in some miles on the trainer.”

The Colavita/Forno D’Asolo roster for the BMC Cascade Cycling Classic includes:

Kelly Benjamin (USA)
Rushlee Buchanan (NZ)
Andrea Dvorak (USA)
Lauren Hall (USA) – winner of Stage Three of the Tour de Toona
Janel Holcomb (USA) – currently #2 in USA Cycling’s NRC rider rankings
Leah Kirchmann (CAN)  below – Canadian National Criterium Champion and #4 in NRC rider rankings
Heather Logan-Sprenger (CAN)  right
Kristin Sanders (USA)

Theresa Cliff-Ryan (USA) will join the roster for the Presbyterian Hospital Invitational Criterium and Rushlee Buchanan will head to Los Angeles for training with the national track team of her native New Zealand.
