Belgian Riders Dominate Espoire World Cyclocross

Belgian riders took 4 of the top 5 spots at today's World Cyclocross race in Sint-Michielsgestel, Netherlands. The 7 lap race was won by Bart Wellens who led from lap one and increased his led lap by lap.to a final result of well over a minute on his closest competitor, Belgian Tom Vannoppen.

The rain experienced by the women's race earlier had stopped allowing the course to dry up somewhat. Two mudholes became a major factor as they grew exponentially during the race and began "swallowing" riders.
