Do you like to ride a bike and have fun? Do you like single track? Great, we have a fun event for you!
The Ontario Mountain Bike Rally, on September 4th, merges the best of a mountain bike race, a group ride and a WRC-style rally in one fun day.
This Rally is similar to the "Mini XC" format used in some other events. Each stage focuses on different skills and is followed by a non-timed connector stage. There are 14 stages through the day, 8 of which are timed.
The rider with the lowest cumulative time is the winner, but that doesn't stop riders from picking one or two stages to showcase their strengths and try to set the fastest time. Use the detailed stage descriptions in the technical guide to plan your day. Check our web site at www.substanceprojects.com.
Have no experience? Want to bring a friend out to a bike event but don't want to have them dropped and ride alone? No problem, ride together after each timed stage and enjoy the day. All you need is a safe working bike and a helmet.
If you have any questions drop us a line and we will be happy to help.
See you on the trail.
