The fifth edition of the Tour de Québec will take place over five days in 2012, on July 25-29. It will consist of a sprint prologue, two road races in the Quebec City region, a time trial along the St-Laurent river and a criterium in downtown Québec City.
With increasing interest from the public, the teams and cycling community, the Tour de Québec is back in full strength and will see 20 teams selected for this fifth edition.
Among the new features, there will be a daily webcast by ZoomSport.tv, ensuring good visibility to the participating teams and partners. The Tour is currently accepting applications from teams until May 15th, when the final team selection will be unveiled. The Tour is open to Professional and Amateur teams of 4-9 riders, as well as Junior teams. In 2009, the Tour boasted an international field of 18 teams.
