Held in Kemptville, the race was part of the local Dandelion Festival. On Saturday, a 90 minute very technical downtown crit was held. There was around 60 riders at the start of the race racing for a $5000 purse. The race was very fast and the guys very nervous. Many crashes happened during the race and lot of guys did not finished the race because it was too technical.

EKOÏ.com/Gaspesien's Jean-Samuel Deshaies took fourth place.  "I missed my sprint because I had to slow down in the third corner because the guy in front of me crashed," said Jean-Samuel.

Sunday, there was a 170 kilometre road race. After only one of the ten laps, a break of seven guy got away and lasted until three kilometres to go! Antoine Matteau and Jordan Brochu worked hard in the break and the other riders for the team waited for the final sprint. Jean-Samuel Deshaies did well again with a third place.  "Another crash slowed down my teammates, [who] worked to bring me to the finish line. I had to accelerate twice in the last metres because of the crash, [so] I lost power for the win," explained Jean-Samuel.

Next race... Philly!
