A sunny cool morning in St Felicien and teh Junior Men and Women, U17 Men and Women are on course.

 

The course is simila to the one used in 2009 for Nationasl but has been shortened by 1.3 km

 

Junior Men - 4 laps plus start loop

Elliot Galbraith (BTG) leads at the end of the start loop

 

Lap 1

1/2 way. Marc-Antoine Nadon (Team Ontario/SCOTT - 3 Rox Racing) now leading by a large gap

 

Lap 2

Marc-Antoine Nadon leading with Alexandre Vialle (Scott Pure Power) at 20 sec. Peter Disera (Team Ontario / Cycle Solutions/Angry Johnnys) 3rd at 30 sec and Julien Gagné (Dalbix Sherbrooke) at 35 sec

 

Lap 3

Marc-Antoine Nadon  leading Alexandre Vialle by 40 sec. Vincent Belhumeur (Specialized Québec) sitting 3rd

1/2 way.  Marc-André Fortier (Scott Pure Power) leading with a gap of 30 sec on a chase group of 3

Marc-André Fortier leading with Raphael Auclair (On the Edge Canada) at 25 sec. Francis Pelletier (Vélo 2 Max (St-Félicien)) sitting 3rd

Catherine Fleury (Cyclone d'Alma) had a fast start and was the early leader on the start loop, but it is now Frédérique Trudel (Specialized Québec) passing her on the climb

Frédérique Trudel leading Rachel Pageau (Cyclone d'Alma) by 20 sec. Gabrielle April (Équipe du Québec / Lessard Bicycles) 3rd, Frédérique Larose-Gingras (CVM Subway-Génétik  4th

Trudel leading  Pageau at 1:25. Larose-Gingras 3rd at 1:40 and April now 4th

Trudel well out front starting her final lap

Laurie Arseneault with Soren Meeuwisse (Team Ontario/Hardwood/Trek) at 10 sec and Marine Lewis (Scott Pure Power) 3rd

Arseneault is catching all but top 7 Junior Women who started ahead
