Recent news from the Blzzard Bike Club in Fort St. John, BC

Toony Cross - Thursday October 4th

The Fort St John's Blizzards Toony Cross saw Chris Haugen win the latest edition on Thursday night to finish seven laps in a time of 29:25 minutes. Gary Hilderman was second at 30:10 and Davide Loro third at 31:49. Nicki Haugan was fourth at 32:35 and Tate Haugan fifth at 33:55. Adam Currie did six laps at 32:05 and Celeste Pakstas did sive laps in 28:15.  Thanks Pat Ferris for timing.

Due to diminishing daylight, Cyclo-cross will only be happening at 2:00 pm, Sunday afternoons for the remainder of October.

MTB - Sunday September 30th
Chris Haugan closed out the 2012 mountain bike season with a win, Sunday. He did two long loops of the Cactus Trails in a time of 1:18:51 minutes. Gary Hilderman was second at 1:24:17 and George Gamble third 1:24:17.

Matthew Davenport did a 1.9 lap at 1:12:58, Roger St. Jean 1:26:35 for a ‘Rogers Revenge’ loop. Tate Haugan did a 1.5 lap in 42:00. Ty Haugan had 14:02 for the ‘Quail trial.

Nicki Haugan had 39:31 for 1 lap followed by Davide Loro 55:13, Adam Currie 55:37 and Sam Keats 56:36.

Sunday October 8th is Cyclo cross at 2 pm at NPSS.
