Online registration for the 2013 UCI Masters Cyclo-cross World Championships powered by Exergy, scheduled for January 29th - February 1st, 2013 in Louisville, Kentucky, will open on November 1st on USACycling.org.

Participants can register for the following age groups: M / W 30-34; M / W 35-39; M / W 40-44; M / W 45-49; M / W 50-54; M /W 55-59; M / W 60-64; Women 65+; Men 65-69; Men 70-74 and Men 75+; see below for schedule.  Registration opens with early pricing at $75 per rider through January 4th, 2013. On January 5th, the entry fee moves to $100 per rider and registration closes on January 25th. On-site registration will be available for $125.

Raced on the new Masters World Championship venue at at Champions Park in Louisville, the course will features elevation and speed changes, dirt, sand, grass, off-camber technical sections and enough natural terrain change to challenge riders.

Tuesday, January 29th - Pre-race Training course open

Wednesday, January 30th

Qualifying Heats: Men 30-34; Men 35-39; Men 40-44; and Men 45-49

Repechage: Men 40-44; and Men 45-49

Championship Races: Men 60-64; Men 65-69; Men 70-74; and Men 75+


Thursday, January 31st

Repechage: Men 30-34; and Men 35-39

Consolation Races: Men 30-34; Men 35-39; Men 40-44; and Men 45-49

Championship Races: Women 30-34; Women 50-54; Women 55-59; Women 60-64; women 65+; Men 50-54; and Men 55-59


Friday, February 1st

Championship Races: Women 35-39; Women 40-44; Women 45-49; Men 30-34; Men 35-39; Men 40-44; and Men 45-49


Eligibility Guidelines:

• Rider must be of cyclo-cross racing age of 30 or older.

• Riders who appear in the UCI Elite cyclo-cross rankings or have earned UCI points in the 2012-2013 season are ineligible for the Masters World Championships.

• Riders who participated in the UCI Elite Cyclo-cross World Championships, Continental Cyclo-cross Championships or any UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup during the 2012-2013 season are ineligible to compete at Masters Worlds.

• Any rider who has been a member, during the 2012-2013 season, of a team registered with the UCI in any discipline is ineligible for the Masters World Championships.

• There will be no ability category restrictions in order for riders to compete.


Licensing:

All racers will be required to hold a 2013 UCI Masters License to be eligible to race. UCI licenses are available your respective country's national federation.


Qualifying and Field Limits:

The UCI Masters Cyclo-cross World Championships have a UCI-mandated field limit of 80 riders. In fields with fewer than 50 riders registered, no heats will be held and all registrants will be entered directly into the Championship race. Call-ups for fields under 50 riders will be by random draw.

In fields with more than 50 but fewer than 80 currently registered riders, three-lap qualifying heat races will be contested. Riders will be called up by random draw in the heats. Start order for the World Championship final will be according to the results of the heats, where the winners of each heat will be called up first, the second place finishers called up next and so forth. Should an age group exceed 80 riders by race day, a repechage will be run as the final means of qualifying for the Championship race.
