The 2012 Mike’s Bike Shop Cup came to an end last night (October 30th) with the classic “Boo! Cross” event at Dieppe’s Rotary Park. Julien Roussel took the last of 17 stages, followed by Krista Koval and Jim Currie.
The Mike’s Bike Shop Cup bring the region’s cyclists to complete in 17 events, grouped in six cycling disciplines: Mountain bike (Cross country), Road (individual time trial and criterium), track, BMX, and cyclo-cross. This season, 11 different riders won the various stages.
In the general classification (GC), Jean-Richard Cormier won the series with 1160 points, accumulated since the month of May. He was accompanied on the podium by Mark-André Deslauriers (1020 points) and Julien Roussel (975 points). Mike LeBlanc and Marc Cormier completed the top five.
We hope to see even more riders in 2013! Thanks to the many volunteers who helped put this event together!
