The Forest City Velodrome is pleased to announce that the volunteers at the 138m indoor velodrome in London, Ontario, are expanding the Track 1 (Introduction to Track) cycling sessions in December. Book your individual or group session today. There is a maximum of 12 spots per session.

"We are not sure if it's the Milton effect or the Olympics, [but] our introduction sessions have been "sold-out" for the past two months. There is a huge waiting list, plus we are booked into January," said Scott Mathews, one of the volunteers at the FCV.

FCV will be adding several Friday night sessions in December. On December 7th, 14th and 21st will be the three added sessions of Track 1. The sessions will begin at 6:30 pm and conclude at 8:30 pm, and riders will learn the basics of track riding and be well on their way to getting involved with all of the regular programs that run every evening during the winter.

If you have been waiting to get involved here is your chance to get a jump on your fitness for the 2013 road season.

You can book your introductory class by looking at the schedule (link below) and sending an e-mail to ForestCityVelodrome@live.com.
