The number of digital video cams that are portable, water and shock resistant, and offer bike and helmet mountings has exploded, as have the number of people making their own videos.  Now it is extremely easy to video your favourite ride, a race course from a pre-ride or the time you augered into the dirt ...

Helmet mount, chest mount, bike mount options are all available, as well as accessories to completely waterproof your camera.  The unit that really opened the market for this type of self expression was the GoPro, but since then we have seen excellent offerings from Contour and, the latest one on the market, the JVC Adixxion.
