Tour of Japan

Canadian Steve Gaffney (Sumita Ravanello Pearlizumi) finished 56th (pack finish) in the first stage of this 6 stage race.


Women's Tour of Trentino, Italy

Canada has team in this 3 stage race (originally supposed to be 5 stages) - Sandy Espeseth, Kim Davidge, Alison Sydor, Sophie St Jacques, Anne Samplonius. So far, the only Canadian results we have been able to obtain are for the 90 kilometre second stage, with Sandy Espeseth finishing 32nd (5:14 behind the winner, Fabiana Luperini), and Sophie St Jacques 38th (same time). Pia Sundstedt of Switzerland leads Luperini on the overall (tied for time).


Registration Update

The registration discount for the Schwinn-Toyota Canada Cup at Hardwood Hills ends at 8:00 pm (EDT) tonight, so do not delay signing up. Online registration for both Hardwood and Bastion Square end next Thursday (May 25th). We have added the Whistler Summer Session events to the registration area - International Classic, Gravity Tour and BMX Dirt Jumping Competition. To register, just click on the Online Event Registration graphic at the top of your browser window.
