Results from the Junior Women's and Men's XC at the 2nd day of the Mountain Bike World Championships in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa.

Canada's Peter Disera took the silver medal, the first Worlds medal for a Canadian man since Max Plaxton took bronze in New Zealand in 2006.
