December 10/13 16:01 pm - Date Changes for Beauce and Gatineau

Posted by Editor on 12/10/13

Last month we published the draft calendar for the 2014 domestic racing schedule [see Daily News 2014 National Calendar (Draft)], which has now received a couple of modifications.

The Tour de Beauce requested that their event been shortened by one stage, so it will now run June 11-15 (instead of starting on the 10th). The GP Cycliste Gatineau, originally scheduled for May 17-18 has been moved to June 6th and 8th, so that it will be back to back with the Philadelphia Cycling Classic (and at the same time as the men's GP Cycliste de Saguenay, which is now a UCI 2.2 event).

Both of these changes have been approved by the UCI, and we are told a final domestic calendar should be released shortly.
