The Strava universe is abuzz with a posting by Ottawa-based rider Mike Woods, who uploaded a ride yesterday on the famed Haleakala climb on Maui, Hawaii. The Halaekala ride is called the longest paved climb in the world and Woods posted a time of 3:44:29 for 113.7 kilometres, which is to the summit and back down. His time for the climb was 2:32:24, while Garmin Sharp pro Ryder Hesjedal's recorded time was 2:32:51, although Hesjedal never posted his time with Strava.
