We have received a very early report that Laurent Jalabert, the world number one ranked rider has won the Tour of Lombardie. This is the final race in the World Cup pro road series. It also appears that Italian Michele Bartoli finished 4th, which would give him enough points to take the World Cup overall title from the injured Rolf Sorensen.
