In just over a week, an influx of athletes, coaches and spectators will descend on Milton for the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games. During the Games, the Town will host all Pan Am and Parapan Am track cycling events at the Cisco Milton Pan Am/Parapan Am Velodrome (MIV).

To accommodate the track cycling events, temporary traffic, transit and parking changes will be in effect throughout July and August. The Town is encouraging all residents, visitors, business owners and ticket holders to be aware of these changes and plan their Games-time travel accordingly.

Track Cycling will take place July 16 - 19 (Pan Am); August 10 - 11 (Parapan Am).

• There is no parking available at the MIV. Ticket holders will be directed to park at the Milton Sports Centre (605 Santa Maria Blvd) park-and-ride area, where shuttles will be operating to/from the MIV before, during and upon completion of the events. During the Pan Am Games, shuttle service begins at 9:00 a.m.; during the Parapan Am Games, shuttle service begins at 12:00 p.m.

• A dedicated Milton Transit bus, known as the 400 MIV Special will provide free, accessible transportation to the MIV for ticket holders. Ticket holders can catch the bus at the Milton GO Station (780 Main St. E) or at existing Milton Transit stops between the station and the MIV. A map of the 400 MIV Special route is available at www.milton.ca/games.

• A free bike valet service will be offered to ticket holders who cycle to the MIV. The roadway is not pedestrian friendly.

• Louis Saint Laurent Avenue will be closed from Tremaine Road to Savoline Boulevard. For a schedule of road closures, visit www.milton.ca/games.
