France continues to lead the medal standings for cycling, as track competition ends, with 3 gold and 2 silver. Germany finishes second (2 gold, 2 silver, 1 bronze), and the surprisingly strong British third (1 gold, 1 silver, 2 bronze). The U.S., by virtue of Marty Nothsteins gold sprint medal, finishes in a 3-way tie for 4th (with Spain and the Netherlands). Canada finishes with no track medals - a big letdown from Atlanta, where we had 2.

Nicole Reinhart Memorial Service
The funeral services for Nicole Reinhart will be a private family gathering. On Sunday, September 24 at 2:00 p.m. there will be a memorial service in celebration of Nicole's life held at the Lehigh Valley Velodrome in Trexlertown, Pennsylvania rain or shine.
