France continues to lead the medal standings for cycling, as track competition ends, with 3 gold and 2 silver. Germany finishes second (2 gold, 2 silver, 1 bronze), and the surprisingly strong British third (1 gold, 1 silver, 2 bronze). The U.S., by virtue of Marty Nothsteins gold sprint medal, finishes in a 3-way tie for 4th (with Spain and the Netherlands). Canada finishes with no track medals - a big letdown from Atlanta, where we had 2.

Dominique Perras finished 10th last weekend in the GP of Meyrin, in Switzerland.


Nicole Reinhart Memorial Service

The funeral services for Nicole Reinhart will be a private family gathering. On Sunday, September 24 at 2:00 p.m. there will be a memorial service in celebration of Nicole's life held at the Lehigh Valley Velodrome in Trexlertown, Pennsylvania rain or shine. All are invited to attend. More information can be found at the USA Cycling website.
