After a successful first season, and with Parcours athletes making strong appearances in early season races like the Redlands Cycling Classic, Parcours Institute has started to garner some attention.

Parcours is thrilled to announce the addition of a new and significant curriculum partner. Twenty16 RideBiker will join the Parcours family as the first standalone Women's program. As a longstanding success story in women's cycling, Twenty16 will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the evolving curriculum development process. Like other partner teams they have shown a clear understanding of what it takes to develop young athletes. Their staff and athletes will be an enormous intellectual asset for the Parcours family. Fresh off two medals at the Rio Olympics, Twenty16 is continuing their commitment to success for women in the sport now and in the future.

"Twenty16 Ridebiker will be a strong voice in helping to ensure we are addressing all the additional challenges that face young women trying to make the sport their profession," said Parcours managing director, Zach Bell. "Parcours is all about centralizing professional knowledge so that more young athletes can have direct access to the information they need to do the job right for teams and sponsors. Adding a team like Twenty16 Ridebiker to that knowledge base will not only help us provide a better curriculum for women, it will help us strengthen the sport as a whole by helping create a more balanced voice within our organization."

By joining the group of partner teams at Parcours, Twenty16 RideBiker has yet again demonstrated its continuous commitment to athlete and sport development.

"We are delighted to be affiliated with Parcours Institute, it's a superb educational platform for our sport," commented Twenty16 founder and General Manager, Nicola Cranmer. "Parcours Institute is developing a pathway for both staff and athletes to seamlessly integrate into the professional world of cycling, and as a team manager this can only have a positive impact on our industry."

Parcours is excited to be working to grow consistent centralized programing that can do more then simply identify talent. With strong partners like Twenty16 RideBiker, Parcours will have the ability to create an environment that can foster and grow talented and professional athletes for the future.

The next session of the Parcours Institute Athlete Intensive Course is scheduled to begin December 1, 2016, in Oxnard, California. Apply now at www.parcoursinstitute.org. Take advantage of the RallyME funding platform and get your 2017 started on the right foot.
