Four laps to go, and the breakaway is now four, but still hanging on, 2:22 in front of the field. In the break - Danilo Di Luca (Ita), Christophe Moreau (Fra), Roger Beuchat (Sui) and Thierry Marichal (Bel). Top names such as Tchmil, Jalabert, Boogerd, Bartoli and Freire are moving to the front of the peloton. An attack may be coming soon. Dominique Perras and Michael Barry are still there, as is American Chann McRae.
