Just a reminder not to leave it too late to get your tickets to this Olympian appreciation party. We started selling tickets yesterday, and over 10% are already gone. Click on the A Cycling Celebration button at the top of the page. Funds raised will be donated to Junior Athlete Development programs.
Also, we are still looking for some additional sponsors to help defray the costs of hosting this event. If you can contribute, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 519-442-7905.
Ryder Hesjedal dropped us a line to say that he has re-signed with Gary Fisher-Saab: "As 2000 was my most successful year as a professional, I am very excited to stay with the team that was a huge part of that success."
(Editor's Note: For other teams and riders, please let us know about your signings of riders or sponsors, so that we can 'get the word out'.)
Coming up this weekend in Alberta. We will be there to provide lap-by-lap coverage, photos and interviews.
Bill Kinash, President of the Saskatchewan Cycling Association, is also a member of the CCA Board and Development Committee. You may noticed on the Forums that he has started a thread asking for ideas and input on future CCA strategy and direction, which he can take to the AGM (happening in about 2 weeks in Toronto). You can either post your suggestions and comments on Forums, or contact him directly at email@example.com.
