ATTENTION YOUNG WOMEN CYCLISTS

Instructional Cycling Camp with Clara Hughes.

For the last few years, the CCA has organized a small “training camp” immediately prior to the national championships. This year we have decided to reserve this camp for younger athletes, specifically for riders aged 16-22, (the age range for the Canada Games).

The road nationals will start on July 25th, so we are therefore inviting you to participate in this training camp from July 18-23. This camp will be held at the brand new National Training Center in Bromont. You will receive transportation by car from Bromont to Dieppe on July 23rd. So all you have to do is find your way to Bromont for July 18th. All of your bed linen will be supplied and kitchen facilities are available to prepare your own meals.

Clara Hughes, double medallist at the Atlanta Olympics in 1996 and 6th at the Sydney Olympics in 2000, will be your coach and teacher during this camp. She is now living in the Eastern Townships.

The program will include:

* Road technical training sessions
* Introductory sessions to the track
* Fitness testing
* Medical advice from national team doctor, Dr. Susan Labrecque
* Video analysis and much more

The CCA reserves the right to decide who will participate if the number of registrations should exceed twelve (12).

Please confirm your participation as soon as possible, and let us know your travel arrangements. To register, please send an application letter, your date of birth and a copy of your UCI license to:

ATTENTION JEUNES FILLES CYCLISTES

* des séances d’entraînement technique sur route
* des séances d’initiation sur piste
* des tests d’effort
* des conseils du médecin de l‘équipe nationale Dr. Susan Labrecque
* des analyses de video et beaucoup d’autres choses
