Junior Track World Championships - Day 1 and 2
A team of 5 riders (4 men and 1 woman) is competing at the Junior Track World Championships in Trexlertown Pennsylvania. Last night the men's 3000m pursuit took place, with Cameron Evans competing. Despite the fact that his bike was lost in transit from Abitibi and arrived just before the event,Cameron posted a personal best (2 seconds off his best time ever) and finished 26th in qualifying.
Laura Yoisten raced this morning and finished 8th in the 500 metre. Corcoran, MacKinnon and McKenzie finished 14th in the Olympic Sprint Qualifying this morning.
