Burnaby Track Troubles
Courtesy Jeremy Storie

Here is a link to Burnaby Leader recent article on the proposed closure of the Burnaby Velodrome. At present Burnaby sees no utility in this cycling facility; we must change their minds. We are in need of support from anyone that has ridden the track, would like to ride the track, finds tracks as useful tools for developing riding and racing skills and fitness. We need these ASAP. There is a meeting next Monday night, Oct 22 at the Burnaby City Hall where we will be making a presentation. If you are in the neighborhood come to the meeting. WE NEED SUPPORT. All of you have had involvement with this track or some other in the past. Support our cause as it is building on the future of cycling in Canada. Emails of support to bigring54@shaw.ca are the easiest way to answer. If you need more details please do not hesitate to contact me as our small group has documented the entire history of the Velodrome.
