MTB World Cup Schedule Update

The UCI has released a revised schedule to replace the dropped Arai, Japan and Leysin, Switzerland events. June 1-2 will be a Downhill/4-cross at Fort William, Scotland, with a similar event being held July 13-14 in Telluride, Colorado. The full schedule now looks like thus:

May 18-19XC#1 - Madrid (ESP)
May 25-26XC#2 - Houffalize (BEL)
June 1-2DH/4-X#1 - Fort William (GBR)
June 8-9DH/4-X#2 - Maribor (SLO)
June 29-30XC/DH/4-X#3 - Mont-Sainte-Anne (CAN)
July 6-7XC/DH/4-X#4 - Grouse Mountain (CAN)
July 13-14DH/4-X#5 - Telluride (USA)
September 7-8XC#5/DH/4-X #6 - Les Gets (FRA)

One thing that is missing is a sixth cross-country event. The UCI says that they will be trying to add one in later - probably on the same weekend as Fort William, and in Europe. The Colorado event will be held during the Telluride 360-Degree Adventure Festival - a new multi-sport event run by the organizers of the Sea Otter event in March.
