Klassen takes Bronze, Groves 8th and Hughes 10th at Salt Lake

Today at the Salt Lake City Olympics all of the top 3 finishers broke the existing world record for the 3000m Long Track Speed Skating event and all of the top 10 broke the existing Olympic record..

Cindy Klassen became the first Canadian woman to medal at the 3000m distance (previous best was Sylvia Burka 8th in 1976).

I believe (please correct me if I am wrong) all 3 Canadian women will now move on to skate the 5,000m on February 23rd.
